EXCEPTIONAL INSULATING PERFORMANCE

The special structure enables the extremely good thermal insulation value of the AEROGEL particles from λ~0.012 W/mK.

MINERAL PARTICLES MADE FROM SAND

The base material for AEROGEL is sand. The sand molecules form the solids in AEROGEL, the pores are completely filled with air.

HISTORICAL BUILDINGS AND MONUMENT PRESERVATION

MAINTAINING THE LOOK

The minimal application thicknesses allow the preservation of the building proportions and design elements while insulating from the outside. Because of the diverse mineral topcoats, the original render structure can be maintained.

BUILDING PROTECTION

AEROGEL insulating plasters applied from the outside protect the walls from moisture penetration, de-icing salt and acid rain. In addition, you minimize thermal bridges and you protect wood-beamed ceilings from damage. AEROGEL insulating plasters used from the outside therefore offer clear advantages over interior insulation.

HIGHEST EFFICIENCY

With an insulation thickness of just 2 - 3 cm, the AEROGEL insulating plasters reduce the energy loss across the wall surface by up to 70%. This makes it possible to prevent the formation of mold on the inside with thin outside insulation. Higher insulation thicknesses are also possible and common practice.

EXISTING BUILDINGS

AEROGEL insulating plasters provide a highly insulating, non-combustible alternative to insulation boards. They are particularly suitable for thin insulations, which prioritize relative energy savings and not the resulting R-value. The insulation in the first centimeters is the most efficient.

EXTREMELY THIN INSULATION

Save up to a third of the insulation thickness compared to traditional non-combustible insulation boards. Ideally suited for tight spaces and where fire safety is of great importance.

NO INSULATION BOARDS

Insulate your walls without gaps or cavities. This prevents air ventilation behind the insulation and reduces thermal bridges. Owing to their mineral consistency, AEROGEL insulating plasters are resistant against algae and fungi.

MINIMIZE THERMAL BRIDGES

Improve and optimize specific areas energetically, like window reveals. Save time and effort for exceptional geometries (e.g. curves).
